Automobiles in German Town Found Marked with Swastikas in Blood, Police State
Local Law Enforcement
Roughly 50 vehicles have been marked with what appears to be human blood in the German municipality of Hanau close to Frankfurt, according to authorities.
Vehicles, walls and postboxes were vandalized, sometimes with prohibited symbols, they announced in a official communication.
Law enforcement say they were contacted during the night on Wednesday night, when a individual observed that a car in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been covered with a reddish-hued fluid.
The substance had been drawn in the shape of a banned symbol, they added.
Law enforcement then located numerous other smeared automobiles and house walls in the adjacent neighborhood.
These symbols are banned in Germany under regulations banning the public exhibition of Nazi symbols.
Police say initial examinations indicate the fluid was likely blood from a person.
"At present there remains no indication as to its source; officials are presently not cognizant of any physical harm in connection with the incident," they stated.
City officials said they were working "to unravel the case" and have appealed to the community for details.
An important official commented the incident made him speechless and had to be addressed quickly.
"This act hits the very heart of Hanau and reawakens the wounds of the far-right violent incident five years ago," he stated on social media, recalling the death of nine individuals by a gunman focusing on residents of foreign heritage in 2020.
